Dani Dyer to Samba on Strictly to Zara Larsson
Dani Dyer is getting a second chance on the BBC TV competition, after an injury forced her to pull out last year, and has once again been partnered with professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin.
Dani Dyer is hoping for success on her first competitive week on Strictly Come Dancing with a Samba to the tune of Zara Larsson’s Lush Life.
The 30-year-old star is getting a second chance on the BBC TV competition, after an injury forced her to pull out last year, and has once again been partnered with professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin.
Now the dances and the soundtracking songs for the first official week of the show have been revealed, with Dani and Nikita dancing the Samba to the hit Zara tune.
They’ll have some competition on the Samba front though, as Delta Goodrem and Kai Widdrington will be doing theirs to the tune of Baianá by Barbatuques.
Will Best will also be hoping for a Samba success as he and partner Dianne Buswell dance to Robbie Williams’ Rock DJ.
The celebrities performing a Quickstep include House of the Dragon star Bethany Antonia, who will be performing to Celeste’s Stop This Flame with her partner Nancy Xu, while Dame Sarah Storey and Julian Caillon’s routine will be set to the sounds of Kay Starr’s C’est Magnifique.
And Cach Mercer and Maddie Ingoldsby will also be Quickstepping - to Bruno Mars's I Just Might.
Jaime Winstone will be taking on the Tango with Carlos Gu, to Donna Summer’s I Feel Love, while Chris Appleton and Amy Dowden will do the same dance to Alice Merton’s No Roots.
On the Cha Cha Cha front, Lacey Turner and partner Vito Coppola will dance to Whitney Houston’s How Will I Know, Melanie Walters and Aljaz Skorjanec will perform to Elton John and Kiki Dee’s Don’t Go Breaking My Heart, Graeme Hall and Lauren Oakley’s routine will be soundtracked by Hound Dog, and Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr will dance the Cha Cha Cha to Paul Russell's Lil Boo Thang.
The routines will be concluded by Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita’s Jive to KATSEYE's Animal, John Nellis and Katya Jones’ Foxtrot to Alex Warren's Ordinary, and Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystal’s Paso Doble to Harry Styles Aperture.
