Michelle Keegan ‘really sad’ Brassic is ending
With the seventh and final series set to release later this month, Michelle Keegan has admitted she is "really sad" Brassic is ending.

Michelle Keegan is “really sad” Brassic is ending.
The 38-year-old actress has starred in the drama series from 2019, and has now admitted she is devastated she has to let the show go.
Speaking with the Daily Star newspaper, Michelle said: “It's really sad. I love this show, and for me it's felt like home.
“Every year, I'd go off and do other projects, and then I'd come back home to Brassic as it was always at the same time every year. It was the nicest job to do because it was like seeing all your mates again.”
Michelle - who plays Erin Croft in the Sky show - added Brassic’s conclusion would “hit [her] more” when the seventh and final series is out, and she no longer gets to work on the programme.
The former Coronation Street actress said: “It’s going to hit me more this year when it’s not coming back.”
Brassic - which also stars Joseph Gilgun, Ryan Sampson and Aaron Heffernan - follows Vinnie and his group of working-class friends in northern England who resort to petty crime while navigating friendship, love, and chaotic everyday life.
In May, Michelle bid farewell to the show - which is slated to release on 25 September on Sky Max and NOW.
Taking to Instagram, the actress shared an emotional post after filming her last scenes, and explained how upset she was about the show’s conclusion.
She penned: “Goodbye Erin … So finally the Brassic journey has come to an end (feels so strange saying that) and what an unbelievable 7 years it’s been.
“I feel so privileged to have been a small part of such a mighty show. From the moment I read the 1st script I knew this job was going to be special and it definitely was.
“Thank you to everyone who worked on the show over the years for the laughs, friendship and more importantly the memories… What a magical 7 years we had.”
Writer Joseph Gilgun - who also portrays Vinnie, the father of Erin’s son Tyler - based Brassic first on his own experiences of growing up in Chorley, Lancashire.
