Pop star Brian McFadden is 'very loose-lipped'
Brian McFadden's friends are reportedly feeling anxious for him.
Brian McFadden's friends reportedly fear his I’m A Celebrity Wild Frontier appearance could be a "career ender".
The 46-year-old pop star has a reputation for plain-speaking and Brian's friends are feeling anxious ahead of his appearance on the ITV show.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "This is the first proper reality show Brian has signed up for and there’s a reason for that – he’s very loose-lipped.
"Everyone is so worried he’ll end up getting cancelled after losing his temper, accidentally revealing some celebrity secret about one of his famous mates or spouting off his opinions on controversial subjects.
"Brian doesn’t care what people think about him and is happy to rant on about anything – but his friends are very concerned it’ll be a career-ender."
The TV show is due to begin shooting in Canada in September, and ITV bosses are thrilled to have Brian and fellow pop star Keith Duffy onboard.
A TV insider previously told The Sun: "Bosses are delighted that Keith and Brian will be taking part, they’ll each bring a lot of fun and mischief to the camp.
"Everyone’s really excited about this new format, the pairs element will get everyone talking.
"The casting team are hopeful they can cast celebrity duos, but may also include some stars and their non-famous family members or partners.
"Viewers will see the pairings undertake gruelling trials in the beautiful and unknown Canadian landscape and take on action-packed challenges to win food, all aiming to become the sole victorious pair."
I’m A Celebrity Wild Frontier will debut on ITV in 2027, and the broadcaster previously teased details of the show.
ITV explained: "Set in the untamed and rugged wilderness of Canada and in a big twist to the Australian version, this new spin off series will feature celebrities competing as pairs alongside relatives, loved ones or even fellow celebrities. The pairs will eat, compete and be eliminated together. Which pair will be victorious?"
