Hollyoaks' Jennifer Brooke marries in stunning Spanish wedding
Hollyoaks alum Jennifer Brooke and filmmaker Lawton Charman tied the knot in Sitges.
Hollyoaks alum Jennifer Brooke is married.
The 33-year-old actress - who played Rachel Hardy in the Channel 4 soap from 2015 until 2016 - tied the knot with filmmaker Lawton Charman during a stunning ceremony in Sitges, a beachy town outside of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, on July 10.
Jennifer stunned in an elegant ivory A-line gown with delicate straps, a flowing skirt, and a gorgeous train, while Lawton looked dapper in a black suit and white T-shirt, in pictures of the pair walking hand-in-hand posted on Instagram from their special day.
She captioned the upload: "I’ve lost my voice and gained a new second name.
"10th July 2026…. We did the damn thing. (sic)"
Fans showered the newlyweds with congratulatory messages in the post's comments section, as one penned: "Huge congratulations. You look amazing enjoy married life lots of love and happiness to you both (sic)."
A second supporter gushed: "Eish you guys are FIT. Congratulations!! (sic)"
And a third follower typed: "Ohhhh that dress. You looked unreal @jennniferbrooke! I hope it was everything and then some! (sic)"
In June, Jennifer and her pals, including Rebus actress Lucie Shorthouse, jetted out to Marrakech, Morocco, for her hen do.
The Casualty alum and Lawton got engaged in May 2025 after being together for a decade.
Taking to Instagram, Jennifer posed shots of her engagement ring, with the caption: "10 years later… she said ‘yeah alright (sic).'"
The blonde beauty joined Hollyoaks as Rachel Hardy in October 2015, but the character was killed off in a car explosion in March the following year.
She went on to appear in the BBC comedy White Gold as Donna, and guest-starred in a 2025 episode of the corporation's period drama, Call the Midwife.
Alongside her screen roles, Jennifer is also an acting teacher for children.
In 2020, she joined forces with Samantha Shaw to launch the B.O.S.S Acting School.
The pair's efforts and success with the school were subsequently recognised at the 2021 Club Hub Awards, where Jennifer and Samantha were nominated for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year gong.
