Georgia Toffolo reveals emotional setback in skin battle
Georgia Toffolo has battled acne since she was 13, and now she has another fight to deal with.
Georgia Toffolo "can't bear that [she] looks like a totally different person" now she is battling acne and bacne.
The Made in Chelsea alum is overcome with emotion following the latest breakout of spots and blemishes on her back because she thought her skin struggles - particularly with her face - were finally over.
In a video posted on Instagram on Monday (25.05.26), Georgia said: "I'm 31, and I've just got bacne for the first time in my life. What is going on?
"I really wasn't going to show these pictures to you guys, but I think I have to. I can't bear that I look like a totally different person, but this is what is actually going on.
"Every single time I think I put my acne behind me, something new happens to me, and this time, it's on my back. At my age, for the first time in my life, just where has that come from?
"I don't drink, I really sleep well, I eat well, I do all of the things right, and my skin is still doing this to me."
The I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! 2017 winner - who has battled acne since she was 13 - reminded her fans that although someone may look perfect and "healed" on social media, they may have "things going on underneath".
Toff - the affectionate nickname fans gave her - then begged her fellow acne and bacne sufferers for recommended treatments.
She said: "Please, this is my only ask, if you've found something that genuinely worked for you, I want to know it.
"I'm desperate to try and sort this out once and for all."
In a video shared to Instagram in September 2025, the TV personality said her skin has "always been my biggest struggle" and that the ups and downs of her acne are "relentless".
But she "learnt that progress doesn't mean perfect" and that it is "about showing myself kindness even on the really tough days".
And in another video, Toff declared she was no longer going to hide her natural skin after she spent years trying to cover it up by applying heavy makeup.
The blonde beauty said: "There are many things that we're taught in life that define us and our worth, especially as women.
"As you grow older, you realise these things are not as important as they seem. There is strength in being vulnerable and being real.
"My skin and acne journey has taken me to some of the lowest points in my life.
"All the while, I have been pushing forward in my career, but it has always been something that has been there. It has been something to hide to avoid nasty comments, ridicule, and hate.
"But I'm done with hiding, our skin does not affect our worth. We are all beautiful, just as we are - no filters, no covering up, no makeup.
"You deserve to live your life without your skin holding you back.
"You are beautiful."
