Jess Impiazzi has given birth to her first child.

The Ex on the Beach alum and her 39-year-old partner, Formula E driver Sam Bird, were thrilled to announce the arrival of Freddie Charlie James Bird on Tuesday (12.05.26), after years of IVF while she battled lupus - a chronic autoimmune disease where the body mistakenly attacks tissues and organs.

Jess, 36, and Sam posted a cute black-and-white shot of their bundle of joy’s hand clung to the latter's finger, and the couple captioned the joint post: "Myself and @jess_impiazzi are beyond proud to share that at 2 35 pm on Tuesday afternoon we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Freddie Charlie James Bird into the world.

"We are so in love with him already and can’t wait to share more pictures soon."

Fans showered the couple with congratulatory messages in the post's comments section, as one penned: "I am so incredibly happy for you both. Massive congratulations x (sic)."

A second supporter typed: "Fabulous news congratulations to you both xx rest up Jess much love to you x (sic)."

And a third follower wrote: "Wooo welcome to the world little bird. Congratulations (sic)."

Jess admitted it had been "hard keeping this secret, especially as a huge over-sharer" when she announced her pregnancy in January.

The reality TV star posted a picture of her baby scans, a white baby grow with "Coming Soon" emblazoned on the front, and a pair of grey knitted shoes.

The Celebrity Big Brother 2018 finalist added in the caption: "It’s not been an easy journey, but my @sambird_official has been there through every ivf appt, every jab, every hospital appt, and I love him so much.

"We’re so excited to welcome our little boy in May 2026 and cannot wait to meet him (sic)."

Jess has been with Sam since 2024, following her split from 43-year-old retired footballer Jermaine Pennant the year before.

Also in 2023, Jess was diagnosed with lupus and a low ovarian reserve, and she began IVF after doctors told her she would likely have an early menopause.

The entertainer explained to her Instagram followers: "Hey everyone - thank you to all who have messaged me yesterday regarding egg collection. I just wanted to do a little update.

"Firstly I know this is not an easy journey, but since I spoke up about it i was actually shocked how many people are going through this or have been through this, I thank each and everyone of you for reaching out and sharing your story, it helps more than you know to have a community.

"As many will know who’ve followed this from the start I was diagnosed with low ovarian reserve earlier this year and that will mean I’ll hit an early menopause...

"My AMH level was 0.5 with is exceptionally low especially at my age of 34. I honestly felt like my world had been pulled from under me, I saw a family and little 'me’s' in my future but that felt like it was suddenly not so certain...

"Anyways, to let you know where we are at… they managed to get 2 eggs yesterday from my follicles and with my AMH level I believe that’s good (obviously someone without my condition would have an abundance more)..

"But all you need is 1 good one so praying today that’s what they find out! The egg collection wasn’t as scary as I had made out in my head, I was put to sleep and then woke up half an hour later back in my room.

"I know the process is emotionally and physically draining for so many of us, and I know I’ve got a fair way to go yet, it’s hard to stay stress free when you’re wondering if those eggs are good enough because if they’re not, you have to start the whole thing again!

"It’s very draining and exhausting but everyone going through this, you are warriors! (sic)"
