Love Island star Paige Thorne pregnant with first child
Love Island star Paige Thorne and former X Factor wannabe Drew Wedlake are expecting their first child together.
Love Island star Paige Thorne is pregnant.
The 28-year-old paramedic first appeared in Love Island in 2022, but she has since moved on with rugby player boyfriend Drew Wedlake, who she started dating last year.
Paige and Drew - who auditioned for The X Factor in 2017 - moved in with each other after three months, and they are expecting their first child together in September.
She wrote on Instagram: "Half of me + half of you
"You are already loved infinitely, baby Wedlake due September (sic)"
The couple shared a video of themselves celebrating their baby news on a beach by frolicking around in the sand and sea.
Several former Love Island stars took to social media to congratulate the pair.
Ekin-Su Culculoglu commented: "Omg congratulations"
Liberty Poole wrote: "Congratulations amazing news"
Biggs Chris wrote: "Jheeezzz congratulations to you both"
What's more, singer Brooke Scullion wrote: "All the love in the world will be given to this baby. Love you mama "
Paige replied: "literally awh I’m obsessed already honestly! Love u xx (sic)"
The star was heavily linked to Love Island: All Stars 2025, but she didn't appear in the series.
In November 2024, a source told The Sun newspaper: "Paige was in talks to do All Stars earlier this year, but things didn’t quite work out, and she didn’t make the final cut.
"This time around, producers are really keen to have her back. They think she is the perfect addition to spice things up.
"She’s stunning - who could forget her turning lothario Adam Collard’s head – and she gets involved in drama, so they’re confident she will deliver."
During her original time on Love Island, Paige was coupled up with Jacques O’Neill before dumping him for Adam Collard.
Paige and Adam later split, and she hooked up with football TikTokker and rapper Formz, whose real name is Josh Foreman, in October 2023.
However, the pair called time on their romance in summer 2024.
Speaking previously about why Paige would be the perfect pick for All Stars, a source told The Sun: "Paige was a brilliant Islander, feisty and fiery in all the right measure and has remained popular on the outside despite a tricky run with a few bad boys.
“She’s a 'Love Island' legend with tons of fans so really deserves a place in the 'All Stars' villa - it’s a great chance for her to show the public how far she has come.”
