Molly-Mae Hague reveals which Great Celebrity Bake Off judge was most 'intimidating'
Molly-Mae Hague reflects on filming for the Great Celebrity Bake Off special for Stand Up To Cancer.
Molly-Mae Hague was more intimidated by Cherish Finden than Paul Hollywood on The Great Celebrity Bake Off.
The 26-year-old reality star is one the many famous faces appearing in the iconic tent for Channel 4's annual Stand Up To Cancer charity series of the beloved baking show, and she has opened up about how it felt trying to impress the two judges.
She told new! magazine: "Paul, much as he is scary, has a warmth about him. I haven't felt intimidated by him.
"Cherish is lovely, but her critiquing is harsher than Paul's because she's so used to judging the experts [on the professional series]. She expects it to both look and taste good.
"It's a bit daunting, but they're both lovely. I've really enjoyed meeting them both. I'd be over the moon to get a Hollywood handshake."
Molly-Mae enjoys baking and described her skills as "moderate", admitting she's "always" been keen to test her skills on the show.
She added: "Honestly, it's something I've always wanted to tick off the bucket list. And when I'm in there, I'm just trying to soak it all in.
"I'm never going to get to do this again. I just feel so lucky that I got asked."
Although she doesn't really feel the pressure at home, the time constraints in the tent make things tougher.
She explained: "For me, the stress comes from time management - feeling under pressure because of a time limit.
"At home when I'm baking or cooking anything, I'm doing it in my own sweet time. I'm not being rushed by anyone. Nobody's telling me I've got 30 minutes left."
Molly-Mae insisted she doesn't usually get "competitive", but heading into the tent it was a different story.
She said: "I'm not competitive with anything - sports, games. But with this I do feel quite competitive, because I'm okay at baking, so I'd really like to be able to show that in the tent.
"If I could win that would be the icing on the cake, quite literally."
As well as Molly-Mae, this year's star studded cast includes Aston Merrygold, Rag'n'Bone Man, Scott Mills, JoJo Siwa, Vicky Pattison, Emmett J Scanlan, Edith Bowman and Ralf Little.
Rounding off the cast are Richard Herring, Joe Wilkinson, Babatunde Aleshe, Rose Matafeo, Judi Love, Tom Davis, Mark Wright, Nella Rose, Mutya Buena, Jon Richardson, Rose Ayling-Ellis, Sam Thompson, Roison Conaty, Alex Brooker and Ambika Mod.
