After a decades-long career in TV and film, actress Carrie Anne Fleming has died aged 51.

The Canadian actress is best known for her roles in genre television including Supernatural and iZombie, and it emerged on Sunday (22.03.26) she had passed away on 26 February in Sidney, British Columbia, from complications related to breast cancer.
Her Supernatural co-star Jim Beaver confirmed the news to Variety, with the outlet saying he told them she died of breast cancer-linked issues.
Carrie Anne built a career across television, film and stage, with appearances spanning horror productions and mainstream series.
She appeared in projects including Viper, Happy Gilmore, Masters of Horror, The Tooth Fairy, Bloodsuckers, Supernatural, The Unauthorized Full House Story and iZombie, alongside a number of theatre productions.
Carrie Anne began her screen career with a recurring role on Viper and a part in the film Happy Gilmore, starring Adam Sandler.
She later worked with director Dario Argento on Masters of Horror in 2005, portraying a disfigured woman in the episode Jenifer.
She went on to appear in a range of horror-themed productions, including The Tooth Fairy and Bloodsuckers.
On Supernatural, Carrie Anne portrayed Karen Singer, the wife of Bobby Singer, played by Jim.
Her role formed part of the show’s extended narrative, with the series gaining a significant following.
She later appeared in the 2015 television film The Unauthorized Full House Story, which depicted the making of the sitcom Full House.
In that production, Carrie Anne played the mother of Candace Cameron Bure, who portrayed DJ Tanner in the original series.
Carrie Anne also held a recurring role on iZombie, appearing as Candy Baker across five seasons.
Away from screen work, she performed in stage productions including Noises Off, Romeo and Juliet, Steel Magnolias and Fame, contributing to theatre productions in British Columbia.
She is survived by her daughter, Madalyn Rose.
iZombie was a commercial and cult success for The CW, running for five seasons from 2015 to 2019.
Developed by Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright, it gained praise for blending crime procedural, comedy and horror. The series built a loyal fanbase and strong streaming audience, with critics highlighting its originality, writing and performances, particularly Rose McIver’s lead role, helping it stand out among comic book adaptations.
