Zoe Ball reveals what she learned from new TV show
Zoe Ball has revealed what she's learning from Just One Thing, her new BBC show.
Zoe Ball "learned something from every episode" of Just One Thing.
The 55-year-old TV star co-hosts the new BBC health show with Roman Kemp and Clive Myrie, and Zoe admits that it's made her more aware that small changes can make a big difference.
Zoe told the BBC: "I genuinely learned something from every episode. But I particularly loved Digital Detox, Chocolate, Sunshine and Gardening.
"Meeting our contributors, along with their families and friends was such a highlight. I was so inspired by the way they embraced the challenges and were willing to try new, healthier habits. Their enthusiasm was infectious and inspired me to get properly involved myself."
Zoe was also surprised by some of her own habits.
The TV presenter has actually made a concerted effort to change her behaviours since filming the series.
She said: "I was shocked by just how much I use my phone. We’re so attached to our digital devices, often without even realising it.
"Since taking on the challenge, I’ve genuinely tried to use mine less, although I’m not sure I’ve done quite as well as some of our contributors, if I’m honest! I found the Digital Detox one of the toughest Just One Things. It was also amazing to see how much people gained from taking part. Even small changes had a noticeable impact."
Meanwhile, Clive Myrie has also admitted to feeling surprised by the things he learned through the series.
The newsreader - who also hosts Mastermind and Celebrity Mastermind - explained: "What surprised me was just how powerful and life changing making such simple adjustments can be.
"The key is asking family and friends along for our contributors to help them on their Just One Thing journey. Getting everyone involved brings people closer together so they all can share in the benefits, and that can be quite emotional. It was a joy to behold."
