Lord Sugar fires Tanmay Hingorani on The Apprentice
Lord Alan Sugar has axed another contestant on The Apprentice.
Tanmay Hingorani has been fired on The Apprentice.
The AI product consultant has become the fourth contestant to be axed by Lord Alan Sugar, after he failed to seal a good deal with a corporate client.
After his exit was confirmed, Tanmay said: "I did take the bullet in the boardroom and I do think it was unfair.
"But you win some and you lose some and I can’t do much about it now!"
Tanmay thinks Megan and Carrington could've easily been fired instead of him, following a disastrous negotiation with their high-end client.
The TV star shared: "I don’t think I deserved it. I think at the time, sitting in the boardroom, it was a lot closer.
"I remember in the moment thinking it could probably go either way between myself, Megan and Carrington.
"You could have even put an argument forward for Karishma and Andrea but in the boardroom, I was there, and I tried to keep composed but I do think it was unfair."
Tanmay believes that Megan should've been fired instead of him.
The businessman suggested that axing Megan would've been the most common sense decision from Lord Sugar.
He said: "Looking back, it should have been Megan.
"I don’t think there is even an argument for it to have been anyone else.
"Maybe Karishma or Andrea but Megan makes the most sense."
Meanwhile, Tanmay claimed to be a "unique" candidate before appearing on the show.
He told the BBC: "I’m unique because I combine creativity and analytical thinking in everything I do.
"I approach challenges with logic and structure but bring imagination and curiosity that help me spot opportunities others might miss. I stay calm under pressure, think strategically, and make decisions with intent. I’m emotionally intelligent and intuitive, able to read people and situations quickly.
"When something excites me, I throw myself into it fully, bringing focus, pace and originality. The blend of clear thinking, intuition and technical expertise lets me connect ideas and execution in a way that delivers real results."
