Marnie Simpson open to having fourth child
Marnie Simpson has not ruled out having a fourth child with her husband, Casey Johnson.
Marnie Simpson may have a fourth child.
The Geordie Shore alum - who has sons Rox, six, Oax, three, and daughter Kixee Moon, seven months, with her 29-year-old husband, former X Factor singer Casey Johnson - likes the idea of having an even number of children.
Marnie told the new issue of Closer magazine: "I have three, and I think I could do four. I don't like the odd number, but you never know."
The 34-year-old star lost two pints of blood, underwent two blood transfusions, and was bedridden for months amid intense pain with her chronic urinary tract infection (UTI), which she was diagnosed with in 2016, but worsened after the 28-hour labour with Rox.
And following that "traumatic" experience, Marnie insisted on having a C-section to welcome Oax into the world.
Despite not ruling out a fourth child, the TV personality - whose most recent birth with Kixee Moon went more smoothly - is cautious amid fears of reliving previous pregnancy complications.
Marnie admitted: "It's been such a pleasant experience this time round because there's been no complications, whereas with the other two there was.
"I don't know whether it's a false sense of security."
After having three children, the 2016 Celebrity Big Brother housemate appreciates her body more.
Marnie explained: "I'm really proud of my body and what it has done. I'm not putting pressure on myself."
The Ex on the Beach alum and Casey met whilst filming MTV's Single AF in 2017, got engaged in August 2020, and tied the knot at Bassmead Manor Barns, Cambridgeshire, in March 2023.
And the pair are enjoying life as a family of three.
Speaking about Kixee Moon, Marnie gushed: "We've loved having a new addition to the family.
"She's a little dream baby, so I can't complain."
Elsewhere, Marnie expressed her joy about her cousin, Geordie Shore star Sophie Kasaei, 36, and her boyfriend, The Only Way is Essex alum Jordan Brook, 30, expecting a baby boy.
Speaking about the couple - who went official with their relationship in late 2022 - Marnie said: "I'm so excited for her.
"I just knew it would happen soon. I've tried to be really positive and supportive, that's all you can do."
And Marnie thinks if Sophie and Jordan can overcome their fertility struggles - a tough two-year IVF battle - "they can overcome anything".
