Shaq Muhammad has "nothing to hide".

The reality TV star is looking forward to his stint on Love Island: All Stars, and Shaq has promised to be honest about his split from Tanya Manhenga if he's asked about it.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Shaq explained: "I’m not worried about anything coming up.

"If anyone wants to know the truth [about the split] or what happened or anything like that, I have nothing to hide. They can ask me.

"I’d rather someone ask me directly than speculate or have like an assumption of me without actually speaking to me first."

Shaq has pledged to be "open and honest" during his time in the Love Island villa.

The reality star suggested that he has nothing to feel ashamed or embarrassed about.

He said: "If they want to speak about past relationships or anything like that, then I have nothing to hide. And I’m going to be open and honest about it.

"Obviously, I think if I’m trying to find a relationship, which I am, then I don’t want to start it with half truth or any lies or anything like that.

"I’m going to be an open book and just see what happens."

Shaq also claimed that he's actually on good terms with his ex-girlfriend.

He shared: "Me and Tanya are on good terms. We’re amicable. There’s no bad blood there.

"I think she wants the best for me and I want the best for her.

"That’s just the attitude I would have if I did see her in there. I think it’s just all good vibes from my side.

"If I end up with somebody else, which I’m hoping to find someone, then I would think that she would just be positive about it and want the best for me.

"It might be a little bit awkward obviously seeing an ex or watching an ex on a show like this. But I don’t think it would be anything malicious on mine or her part."
