Lizzie Cundy has announced the death of her brother, Peter.
Lizzie Cundy's brother has died.
The 57-year-old TV personality announced Peter's death on Thursday (08.01.26) in an emotional Instagram post.
Captioning a black-and-white photo of her beloved sibling, Lizzie penned: "It is with a heavy heart and great sadness to tell you that my brother Peter has died. We as a family are heartbroken. Peter was a much loved son, brother and uncle.
"He worked in theatre, film, had a great love of dogs and of Chelsea FC …A real character and a kind soul who will be very much missed. .Can’t believe he has gone…Rest in peace dear Pete (sic)."
Celebrity pals of the model - who was married to former Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Jason Cundy from 1994 until 2012 - rushed to the upload's comments section to express their condolences.
Loose Women host Ruth Langsford, 65, typed: "I’m so, so sorry Lizzie. Sending you and your family so much love. Hold your happy memories close x x (sic)."
EastEnders star Michelle Collins, 63, left: "So sorry Lizzie looks like a lovely man , awful to lose a sibling , thinking of you x (sic)."
And TV presenter Vanessa Feltz, 63, wrote: "Lizzie I am so sorry for your sad loss. I send you my deepest condolences and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your lovely family. Love always Vanessa. (sic)"
Lizzie's fans also gave their deepest sympathies.
One person said: "Oh Lizzie I’m so very sorry for the loss of your dear brother. My deepest condolences and prayers for all your family at this very difficult and painful time (sic)."
A second user penned: "Ahhhh Lizzy am so very sorry for your loss. What a handsome man! May he rest in peace (sic)."
And a third supporter wrote: "Oh Lizzie so sorry to hear this. Sending you lots of love xx (sic)."
Peter's passing came two days after Lizzie wished her youthful mum, former fashion model Gloria Miller, a very happy 91st birthday on Instagram.
Lizzie shared a photo of Gloria - who is pals with Queen Camilla, 78, and was married to the late Derek Miller, an art director at the Saatchi advertising agency - and captioned it with: "Happy birthday to the strongest woman I know. My dear mother, Gloria."
