Louise Thompson gives health update on son Leo after his hospital stay for bleeding tonsils
Louise Thompson has updated her fans on how her son Leo is doing after being hospitalised with bleeding tonsils.
Louise Thompson's son is feeling better after he was hospitalised with bleeding tonsils.
Fans of the Made in Chelsea star were worried after she shared photos of Leo, four, lying in a hospital bed with a cannular attached to his bandaged arm on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday (07.01.26).
However, on Thursday (08.01.26), Louise, 35, returned to the social media platform and reassured fans that the tot - whom she has with her 35-year-old fiance, personal trainer Ryan Libbey - is OK now he is home and doctors have prescribed him antibiotics.
She wrote over a photo of some homemade beverages: "Back home and making juice guys to try and get some goodness back in the little man's system. Thankfully Leo is eating and drinking a bit again.
"He was given a wonder antibiotic in hospital... I think one of the Cephalosporins that helped boot his infection, making him feel better quite quickly.
"Now I'm tanking him up on the hydration front to provide a concentrated source of nutrients and prebiotics that can hopefully help rebalance his gut microbiome and support his immune system.
"His poo since taking the antibiotics has been a little loco. Yesterday it started falling out of his bum before he could even climb onto the loo, poor boy... and poor me. I can hard relate tbf. (sic)"
Louise had previously shared a photo of the sunrise from Leo's hospital room on her Instagram Stories as she thanked her fans for their well-wishes as Leo battled the infection - often due to severe tonsillitis or irritation from conditions, such as tonsil stones.
The TV personality - who almost died while welcoming Leo via an emergency C-section in 2021, which resulted in hemorrhages - penned: "THANKS FOR YOUR KIND MESSAGES.
"He is doing really really well and as always has been looked after incredibly well by angels of our universe (I feel a suitable Linkedin job description for nurses and doctors). (sic)"
Louise - who, on Monday (05.01.26), said on Instagram that "all I want for 2026... Is a baby" - added: "I think I have the most supportive mum following on here ever.
"You guys are so brilliant - so practical, resourceful and everyone has dealt with some kind of drama at some point over their life so between 1.5million of you I think we have nearly everything covered (sic)."
