Jack Keating has been taking advice from his dad Ronan ahead of Love Island: All Stars.

The 26-year-old star is heading to South Africa to compete on the ITV show - but Jack's dad, pop star Ronan Keating, has banned him from having sex on TV.

Jack told The Sun newspaper: "No sex on TV was the first thing and the last thing that my dad said to me last time and it was the first and last thing this time as well."

Jack believes he's matured a lot in recent years.

He shared: "You know I’m four years older and I’m a dad now.

"I think he knows he didn’t really have to sit me down and be like ‘here make sure you do this and make sure you don’t do that’.

"He’s a lot more confident in me this time than he was last time."

Despite this, Jack suggested that he's approaching the hit dating show with an optimistic attitude.

The TV star said: "I know I’ll try everything once.

"I’m not ruling anything out but I don’t know. We’ll see what situations arise.

"It’s definitely a maybe!

"[My dad] would get over it if I did!"

Jack admitted to having mixed feelings about his daughter seeing him on the TV show.

The reality star explained: "I guess she probably won’t know exactly what’s going on but I’m sure she’ll be really happy just to see my face on TV.

"I hope that I’ll bring a smile to her face.

"I guess her mam will probably show her some bits and pieces but hopefully not everything!"

Jack also revealed that he's open to the idea of having more children in the future.

He said: "I want somebody that obviously wants to have kids. I do want to have more kids in the future when I do get married down the line."
