Former Hollyoaks star Alfie Browne-Sykes is set to become a dad for the second time.

The ex-actor - who left the Channel 4 soap in 2016 and is now a roofer - and his fiancee Aimee Scott are already parents to son Zach, four, and the couple took to Instagram on Thursday (18.12.25) to announce that the tot will be a big brother in 2026.

Alfie, 31, and Aimee shared a photo of an adorable babygrow, which has "Baby Browne-Sykes coming soon" emblazoned on it, alongside ultrasound scan pictures.

Captioning the post, Aimee penned: "Our little miracle, Baby Browne-Sykes. You are already so loved.

"You have the sweetest big brother who is already so excited to play, protect, and love you. Our hearts are so full, and we feel incredibly blessed to be growing our family."

Alfie - who played Jason Roscoe on Hollyoaks from 2013 until 2016 - and Aimee received congratulatory messages from some of his former soap co-stars, including Jessica Fox, 42, and Nikki Sanderson, 41, in the sweet upload's comments section.

And those who follow the couple - who met at the bottom of an escalator at London Liverpool Street station in 2022, and got engaged in the same spot two years later - also sent their best wishes to them.

One person said: "I am over the moon for you both. I know what this means to you."

Another supporter wrote: "Congrats @mrbrownesykes best news ever your be the best parents out there super proud of u both (sic)."

And a third user penned: "Aw Amy congratulations to you both and Zack merry Christmas to you all."

Alfie - who, with Aimee, is yet to share plans for their nuptials - was involved in numerous storylines during his time on Hollyoaks.

This included his character Jason taking steroids, having an eating disorder, and having a relationship with Holly Cunningham (Amanda Clapham)

Alfie - who was in a relationship with Amanda, 35, from 2013 until 2019 - left the soap in 2016 and now works as a roofer.

Speaking of his new career on an episode of the Just Real podcast, Alfie said: "Going to work every day, working on people’s roofs and them recognising you from Hollyoaks is a hard thing to deal with at first – especially when they make comments and don’t realise what they are saying to you.

"I’m just trying to crack on with my acting, trying to pursue that career. It’s a lot tougher than people think. It’s a lot of waiting for the right opportunities to pop, especially with all the s*** at the minute.”
