Finalist George Clarke admits he felt "uncomfortable" at the start of his Strictly Come Dancing journey.

The 26-year-old TikTok star has made it all the way to next week's final with his professional dance partner Alexis Warr, but he has admitted that when he first set foot on the BBC One Latin and ballroom show's steps, he was a nervous wreck.

He penned on Instagram: "Honestly, last night was hands down the most fun we've had this whole competition. The general theme for us throughout has been to let go and I think it's safe to say we did! In the launch show it looked uncomfortable to simply stand on some steps and clap, 12 weeks later and we're devoting a twerk solo to Craig."

Thanking their supporters who have voted for them each week, he went on: "We are so so grateful always for the support and for the opportunity each week to be able to grow and learn and now we're one results show away from the final.

He signed off the post: "I'm (George) not a performer, never mind a dancer, but I think nights like last night make me believe that maybe changing, fingers crossed that we get one final week to prove it! Love you all, Team Warrkey."

The pair will be up against West End star Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin and former England footballer Karen Carney and Carlos Gu when the final takes place on Saturday (20.12.25) from 7pm on BBC One.
