Stephanie Davis has reportedly signed up for Celebs Go Dating.
The 32-year-old soap star - who has played Sinead O'Connor on Hollyoaks and Courtney Vance on Coronation Street - is said to be ready to move on following her split from Joe McKalroy.
An insider told The Sun newspaper's TVBiz column: "It’s been a tough six months for Stephanie. She believed she had found the one in Joe so when they split she was utterly devastated.
“Bosses got in touch with her a couple of months back about appearing on the show. She spoke to her family and decided it would be a good thing to do for herself.
“She’s very much looking forward and not back.”
The actress was approached by bosses for the E4 show a few months after her split from Joe in June this year, when their son Samuel was just four months old.
Announcing the breakup at the time, she wrote on Instagram: "Never in a million years did I think I'd be writing this. I've been left with no choice but to address the rumours.
"This has come as a complete shock and has been an incredibly painful and unexpected time. Just four months after having a baby-one of the most vulnerable and emotional times in a woman's life - I've found myself facing this chapter on my own.
"After everything I've been through in the past, I truly believed I'd finally found my happiness-something secure and lasting. But that, heartbreakingly, hasn't been the case."
She insisted she was still grateful "for the years we had" because of her son, "who will always be [her] priority".
Stephanie also has son Caben-Albi - who turns nine next month - from a previous relationship She added: "Right now, I'm focusing on healing, protecting my peace, and doing the best I can - being there for my two beautiful boys.
"Thank you to those who've reached out-your kindness has meant more than I can say."
