Jools Holland‘s Hootenanny will feature performances from Ronnie Wood and Jessie J.

The musician's annual New Year's Eve celebration is returning to the BBC on December 31 to welcome 2026 in style, with a host of talented stars set to join Jools and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra backing band.

According to NME, this year the broadcast will include the likes of Rolling Stones legend Ronnie, who will perform songs from his new anthology Fearless.

Lulu will join to sing Relight My Fire and a cover of David Bowie's The Man Who Loved The World, while Jessie J will duet with Jools on a Frank Sinatra tune, as well as Living My Best Life.

Olivia Dean is set to appear on the show with a cover of Natalie Cole's This Will be (An Everlasting Love), and Craig David will perform on Hootenanny for the first time since 200.

The R+B legend will play tracks from both his Born To Do It debut album, and his latest release Commitment.

Heather Small will join Jools and the band for renditions of M People classics Moving On Up and Search For The Hero, while indie pop band The Kooks will be playing songs from 2006 debut Inside In/Inside Out, as well as their newest LP Never/Know.

The lineup will also feature the likes of Imelda May - who will duet with Jools on Billie Holiday's Now Baby Or Now - and Mercury Prize shortlisted act Joe Webb, plus David Hermlin and Ruby Turner.

As ever, the BBC broadcast won't be live, with the show being filmed on December 10.

The corporation has confirmed tickets will be allocated "by random draw", and fans have until December 2 at 11:59pm to register and apply for a maximum of two tickets.

The BBC have promised a "night to remember" for fans lucky enough to get in, who are told to "come along dressed in New Years Eve attire", which is described as "dark clothing".

On the ticket website, guests are also warned: "Please note that the recording could last up to three hours so we advise that audience members eat before arriving at the studios."
