Great British Bake Off is returning with Peep Show reunion special this Christmas
Olivia Colman, David Mitchell and more Peep Show stars are reuniting for a Christmas edition of The Great British Bake Off.
Olivia Colman and David Mitchell are leading a Peep Show reunion on The Great British Bake Off.
The Hollywood actress and Would I Lie To You? comedian - who played Sophie Chapman and Mark Corrigan respectively on the classic Channel 4 comedy - will be back with a few former castmates for the baking competition's upcoming Christmas special.
C4 has confirmed David and Olivia, both 51, will reunite with Isy Suttie (Dobby), Matt King (Super Hans) and Sophie Winkleman (Big Suze) for the first time since the show ended in 2015.
They will be testing their skills in a series of tasks paying tribute to Peep Show, with judges Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith watching on.
Hosts Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond will also be part of the special, while a set date and time for the festive episode is yet to be confirmed.
Earlier this month, Bake Off crowned this year's winner of the main series as Jasmine Mitchell emerged victorious.
Paul said at the time: "She has done an incredible job all the way through the Bake Off this year.
"She is a worthy winner and she is the best one we have seen for quite a while actually."
Jasmine is the first contestant in the show's history to win five Star Baker awards, and go on to clinch victory in the finale.
In the semi-final, Jasmine equalled Richard Burr's record for the most Star Baker titles in Bake Off history, after he won five during 2014's fifth series.
But he went on to taste defeat in the finale to Nancy Birtwhistle.
However, Jasmine maintained her strong form all the way to the end, after impressing in the finale's Signature and Showstopper challenges.
Following her victory, Jasmine said: "Oh my goodness I am just so overjoyed! When I was in the middle of exams and trying to bake while I was trying to learn, it’s been so much.
"But I have done it, and I am just so unbelievably happy to have done it with such an awesome group of people."
