Jack Osbourne only knew about I'm A Celebrity stint 10 days before flying to Australia
TV personality Jack Osbourne only knew about his I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! stint 10 days before he flew to Australia, and he expects the series to be like "trauma bonding" for him in the wake of his dad Ozzy Osbourne's passing.
Jack Osbourne was only confirmed to be part of this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 10 days before he flew to Australia.
The 40-year-old TV personality believes he could've been a last-minute replacement for someone, because he hasn't had much time to prepare for the programme.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I only knew I was coming out here like 10 days ago. So, it was literally 10 days.
"I stocked up on some chocolate digestives and some Pot Noodles... I’m going to live the high life."
Jack is still grieving following his famous rocker father Ozzy Osbourne's death in July, aged 76, and he expects the show to be like "trauma bonding".
Asked if he will open up emotionally to his fellow contestants in late-night chats on the ITV show, he added: "I mean, it’s hard not to.
"I mean, I’ve done my fair share of projects with people in situations like this, like Adrenaline Junkie or things like that. I think it’s just a natural part of bonding with people.
"And I think this show would fall under the trauma bonding kind of category. I think things will naturally come up and I’m not necessarily going to stray away from too many things.
"But obviously there are certain things that I probably won’t discuss on a nationally televised TV show that’s filmed 24/7."
Jack recently admitted his mother Sharon Osbourne and sister Kelly Osbourne will be watching him on the show.
He said: "Mum and Kelly, they are absolutely going to be watching. They are supportive."
Jack will appear on the programme just four months after his dad Ozzy died, and the father-of-four admitted it will be "difficult" to be away from his family while he is Down Under.
He added: "It’s absolutely going to be hard leaving them [his wife and children] behind.
"I have got lots of kids, my wife, and my family still in the wake of my dad passing. It is going to be difficult, that is for sure.
"It’s not the longest amount of time I’ve been away from them.
"I’ve gone on different trips filming Adrenaline Junkie for nearly two months without a phone, but I still had access to one and I was able to make calls home.
"It’s going to be very difficult not speaking to my wife and kids. But yes, I do hope I can make my family proud."
