BBC confirms The Finish Line returns with new series and festive specials
The BBC has confirmed Roman Kemp and Sarah Greene will return for more of The Finish Line.
The Finish Line is returning for a fourth series and a week of Christmas specials.
The BBC has confirmed plans for the hit quiz show, with Roman Kemp and Sarah Greene back as co-presenters for another run.
Roman said in a statement: “I’m so happy that The Finish Line is coming back to Northern Ireland to film for a fourth series and that we get to gift audiences with a Christmas special to get everyone in the festive spirit."
Roman insisted that the contestants are at the heart of the show's success, while he promised a "real treat" with the celebrities lines up for the festive episodes.
He added: "The contestants are, as ever, a highlight.
"Watch out for some more bonkers answers in a race to get over the line, and the celebrity guests for Christmas are going to be a real treat!”
Meanwhile, Rob Unsworth - BBC Head of Daytime and Early Peak Commissioning - has teased some "irrestible seasonal sparkle".
He commented: "Expect lots of fun as The Festive Finish Line adds an irresistible seasonal sparkle to one of our most-watched quizzes."
While Roman is gearing up for some festive fun on the BBC, his dad Martin Kemp is preparing for life in the jungle.

He recently revealed Roman has been helping him prepare for his time Down Under on the ITV reality show.
He told The Sun newspaper: "He said don’t take it seriously, just enjoy it. Which I think is the best advice you can get."
Martin has joked that his biggest fear is if he doesn't do as well as Roman on the show.
He wrote on Instagram: "People keep asking if I’m scared of snakes or spiders… The truth is, I’m more scared of Roman’s face if I don’t make it as far as he did."
In the comments, his son quipped: "Absolute nepo-daddy. Only on there cos his sons on The One Show. (sic)"
