The Apprentice stars engaged - almost a decade after they met on BBC show
Harrison Jones popped the question to Michaela Wain during a romantic trip to Tokyo, Japan - almost a decade after they met on The Apprentice.
The Apprentice stars Michaela Wain and Harrison Jones are engaged - almost 10 years after they met on the BBC show.
Harrison, 35, popped the question during a romantic getaway to Tokyo, Japan.
And Michaela, 41, shared a series of snaps of her showing off the sparkly, gold-banded ring on her Instagram account on October 29.
Captioning the photo carousel, she wrote: "A Tale of Tokyo (red heart and ring emoji)."
Michaela Wain reached the final of The Apprentice in 2017, but Lord Alan Sugar - who fronts the show - did not hire her as his business partner.
And announcing her engagement on LinkedIn, she joked that "someone finally hired me" - referring to Harrison, who came seventh on the programme.
Some of their fellow Apprentice 2017 candidates congratulated the couple in the Instagram post's comments section.
Series 13 winner James White penned: "Congrats both! Amazing news."
Jade English penned: "Congrats guys!!! So crazy thinking back to us in that apprentice house and how you have your forevers and baby from it! (heart emoji) (sic)."
On Monday (03.11.25), Harrison took to his Instagram account and shared a series of photos that documented his and Michaela's love story.
This included their time on The Apprentice, showing off their seven-year-old son Grayson, who they welcomed into the world in 2018, and general shots of the family over the years.
He captioned the heart-warming post with: "From meeting in the most unique, once in a lifetime way, to becoming a dad to the most amazing little boy, starting a family, and getting engaged in Tokyo, it's been a pretty nuts journey, so far (TV, baby boy and ring emoji)."
In 2023, Michaela admitted she never thought she would meet the love of her life on a TV show.
The star - who is the sister of 31-year-old TV personality Josh Ritchie - told The Sun: "Not in my wildest dreams did I think I’d meet my partner on The Apprentice.
"My brother’s always saying he went on Love Island and I ended up finding somebody while I were in The Apprentice!
"But even when we were there, it was nothing like that. We were genuinely friends. It was after we’d come off the show, you have a three-month gap before it goes on TV.
"You’ve just had this whirlwind experience and nobody knows about it, so we remained friendly because otherwise you do your family’s head in talking about it, and then when it came on TV we all wanted to be with each other and watch it all together.
"And we were allowed to drink alcohol then – which is when me and Harrison grew closer!"
