Strictly Come Dancing's Amber Davies felt like "trash" after being in the shock bottom two with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

The 29-year-old actress ultimately beat the 53-year-old former professional footballer in the dance off after failing to win over viewers in the public vote.

Despite feeling relieved to live another week in the BBC's Latin and Ballroom dance competition, Amber shared her true feelings following Jimmy's exit during Sunday (26.10.25) night's results show on Instagram - saying she felt like "absolute garbage".

Donned in pyjamas whilst holding a framed photo of her and her 27-year-old professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin performing on the show, Amber lip synched a clip that admitted: "I woke up this morning, and I felt like absolute garbage, for anyone who wants to know what garbage is, that is French for trash."

The Love Island star further explained her feelings in the video's caption.

Amber wrote: "A gut wrenching evening in the dance off, especially dancing against two of the most amazing people I’ve met on this experience, @official_jfhasselbaink and @laurenmayoakley - I feel extremely lucky and thankful to be able to experience Halloween week on strictly, but there will be two very special people missed.

"If you voted for us really really thank you, I guess this week we aim for a come back week?! @nikita__kuzmin thank you for holding my extremely shaky hands extra tight (sic)."

Amber and Jimmy were among the highest scorers of Icons Week (25.10.25).

Judges Craig Revel Horwood, 60, Motsi Mabuse, 44, Shirley Ballas, 65, and Anton Du Beke, 59, gave the West End star and Nikita a total of 33 points for their Cha Cha Cha to Break Free by Ariana Grande - securing them a second-place finish.

Meanwhile, Jimmy and his 34-year-old professional dance partner, Lauren Oakley, scored 30 points for their American Smooth to Purple Rain by Prince - resulting in them being ranked fifth.

Viewers thought differently from the judges, as the two were in the dreaded bottom two, and had to dance off to convince the judges to keep them in the competition.

Sadly, Jimmy and Lauren's routine was not enough, and they were the fourth couple to be eliminated.

After his exit was confirmed, Jimmy said: "I have absolutely loved my experience. I can only say thank you very much for letting me have this experience, and to my daughters for pushing me to come here and do this. I never expected that I would enjoy it this much."

The Chelsea and Leeds United alum also heaped praise on Lauren, adding: "This experience is going to live with me forever.

"Most importantly, [to Lauren] this girl is just absolutely incredible. She has been absolutely amazing with me. You are a diamond."

Lauren also revealed that she loved her time with Jimmy.

The dancer admitted to feeling proud of the progress Jimmy has made on the show.

She said: "I enjoyed it so much and I am absolutely gutted that it’s come to an end. We’ve had so many laughs. We have had the best time, and I am so proud of how far he has come.

"And it proves that anyone can be a dancer if you put your mind to it.

"He’s a footballer! And he just danced like that. We’ve had the best time, and I’m just so proud and I feel honoured to have been able to teach you. You’ve been an amazing student."

The Apprentice 2019 candidate Thomas Skinner, 34, was the first celebrity to be booted off Strictly Come Dancing, followed by Lorraine and Good Morning Britain's Los Angeles Correspondent Ross King, 63, and 39-year-old retired England rugby player Chris Robshaw.
