BrewDog co-founder James Watt's 'beloved' grandmother dead
BrewDog co-founder James Watt took to Instagram on Sunday (28.09.25) to announce the death of his grandmother, Cathie.

James Watt's "beloved" grandmother has died.
The BrewDog co-founder - who is married to 30-year-old TV personality Georgia Toffolo - took to Instagram on Sunday (28.09.25) to announce that Cathie passed away "peacefully" at home on September 26, aged 93.
Captioning a photo of him and Georgia with Cathie on their wedding day, James, 43, wrote: "On Friday, our family said goodbye to our dearly beloved Granny Cathie.
"She passed away peacefully at home at the age of 93.
"She was, quite simply, the warmest, kindest, most giving person I have ever had the privilege of knowing."
James remembered Cathie as a "beyond inspirational" family member, and said he will miss her "masterpiece" Sunday lunch.
The businessman - who has two daughters with his ex-wife, 42-year-old illustrator Johanna Basford - continued: "Her devotion to her family was beyond inspirational.
"I feel incredibly lucky not just to have her play such a central role in my life, but for my daughters to have gotten to know their great grandmother so well.
"Her masterpiece was her Sunday lunch, and it was the focal point of our family.
"The menu remained the same for over 50 years, and Sunday lunches at the Bank House in Gardenstown are always at the heart of our happiest family memories.
"Granny – you will be very deeply missed. Every Sunday lunch, every laugh, and every act of quiet kindness you gave us will always be with us."
Former Made in Chelsea star Toff - the affectionate nickname fans gave her - and James eloped to North East Scotland in March, and they got married in the same church in the coastal village of Gardenstown, where Cathie and his grandad Jimmy tied the knot in 1953.
James - who, with Toff, celebrated their nuptials on a fishing boat - concluded his tribute with: "The photo is from 1/3/2025 on @georgiatoffolo and my wedding day.
"We got married in the same church in Gardenstown where Granny Cathie and Granda Jimmy wed over 70 years earlier in 1953. (sic)"
Toff reaffirmed her love for James in the post's comments section.
