The world's tallest woman, Rumeysa Gelgi, and the world's smallest woman, Jyoti Amge, had afternoon tea together in London.
The world's tallest and shortest women have met in London for an afternoon tea.
Turkey's Rumeysa Gelgi - who stands at 7ft 7in - and India's Jyoti Amge - who is just 2ft tall - nibbled on some food and sipped on hot tea as they shared stories of their life experiences at the swanky Savoy hotel to celebrate Guinness World Records Day.
Rumeysa said: “It was so amazing meeting Jyoti for the first time.
"It was difficult for us to make eye contact at times due to our height difference, but it was great.
"We do have things in common - we both love make-up, self-care, and doing our nails.”
Jyoti said: “I’m used to looking up and seeing people taller than me, but I was so happy to look up today and see the world’s tallest woman.
"I’m delighted that I’ve met Rumeysa, she is so good-natured, and I felt very comfortable talking to her."
It comes as the giant 27-year-old advocate, researcher and web developer, and the little 30-year-old 'American Horror Story' actress have been named a Guinness World Records icons in the special 70th anniversary edition of the book.
Reacting to the achievement, Rumeysa said: "Being named as a Guinness World Records icon in this anniversary edition is surreal, it is the greatest honour I have ever had.
"I've seen myself among all these artists and athletes that I’ve always been a fan of – it’s an indescribable feeling."
Meanwhile, Jyoti said: "I am thankful to Guinness World Records for finding me in 2009 and giving me the opportunities I have had.
"I never thought I would be called an icon, and it’s extra special that it is in the 70th anniversary edition.
"I can’t explain how happy I am!"
