Hulk Hogan claims Cher and Madonna made moves on him
Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has alleged that both Cher and Madonna made romantic advances towards him, with Cher trying to take him to dinner in the 1980s and Madonna wanting to party with him in the '90s.
Hulk Hogan has claimed he spurned romantic advances from Madonna and Cher.
The 71-year-old wrestling icon says the pair of pop superstars were attracted to him at different times, and in the '80s Hulk has alleged that 'If I Could Turn Back Time' hitmaker Cher sent a message to him informing him that a limousine was waiting to take him to dinner.
The WWE legend - real name Terry Bollea - refuse Cher's offer because he was with his first wife Linda at the time.
Appearing on the PBD Podcast, he said: "I was sitting at the Twin Towers one day with my wife at Vince [McMahon]’s birthday party. This cop comes up, taps me on the shoulder, and I said, ‘Yes?’ ... And the guy goes, ‘Oh, Cher sent her limo for you - it’s downstairs. She wants you to come over and have dinner with her.'
"I didn’t know what to make of it. I said, ‘Get out of here, what are you talking about?’ But you know, it was kind of weird because she just thought she could send a car, and I’d jump in and go running over there. No, no, brother, come on. I was with my wife - I wouldn’t do that anyway.”
In the same fashion, Hogan said he received a similar proposition from Madonna a decade later.
The former WCW grapple said: "Then there was another time when Madonna put out that S+M book … She had a party in New York City, and I was at the Garden that night. She sent a car to pick me up to come to her party. And once again, I was with my wife, so I’m not doing that stuff.
“But yeah, those things catch you off guard, and that’s when you kind of realise that the character crosses over into that world.”
