Ryan Reynolds thinks Taylor Swift would be the perfect choice to take over as Deadpool.
The 47-year-old actor reprises his role as Wade Robson and his wise-cracking alter ego in the upcoming 'Deadpool and Wolverine' but if he ever decides to step aside from the part, he thinks his friend would be a "very good" candidate to replace him because of her own quick wit.
He told E! News: “I always do say that if anyone ever were to take over the role of Deadpool, actually Taylor would be very good.
"Because that’s a superpower that I don’t know that she shows everyone too often: She’s one of the funniest people I’ve ever met.”
The 'If' actor also dismissed ongoing speculation that the 'Cruel Summer' hitmaker will have a cameo role in 'Deadpool and Wolverine'.
He said: “I will say once and for all that the cameo thing with Taylor, because she’s our friend — that is not in this film.”
Ryan's co-star in the film, Hugh Jackman, joked the 'Love Story' hitmaker is actually nanny to the four children the 'Free Guy' actor has with wife Blake Lively.
And Ryan joked the cost of hiring his pal to care for James, nine, Inez, seven, four-year-old Betty and their 17-month-old sibling would be "insane".
He quipped: “The cost of that is… I believe the accountant said, ‘Cost-prohibitive.’ But I think what he meant was, ‘Cost-insane-what-are-you-doing-I’m-no-longer-you’re-accountant.’ ”
Taylor previously revealed the name of Ryan and Blake's third child on the track 'betty' on her 'folklore' album, with the song also featuring mentions of James and Inez.
And the Wrexham AFC co-owner recently joked he and his wife had been unable to name their fourth child - whose sex or other details they have never publicly shared - because Taylor hadn't told them what it would be yet.
He quipped on 'Today': "We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child's name will be.
"And, we'll say this: we're still waiting, so Taylor, let's maybe start.
"You know, she's a prolific writer. I mean, what are we doing here?
"And lazy is not a word I'd attach to Taylor."
