Instagram has a strict “no nudity” policy – which includes photos and videos of female nipples, but the platform makes exceptions including posts of women who are “actively” breastfeeding.
MailOnline has reported a string of OnlyFans creators are “utilising this loophole by posting videos of dolls held up to their exposed breasts, pretending to breastfeed”.
Many web users have slammed the videos as disrespectful, with one saying online: “Have you lost all sense of shame? Using breastfeeding and a fake baby for likes and money is disrespectful on so many levels!”
An X user hit out: “Pretending to breastfeed a doll so you can get your boobs out, and labelling it as educational to get around guidelines, while promoting your only fans. We’ve reached a new low people.”
Instagram’s Community Guidelines explain nudity is not allowed for a “variety of reasons”, and they add: “We know that there are times when people might want to share nude images that are artistic or creative in nature, but for a variety of reasons, we don’t allow nudity on Instagram.
“This includes photos, videos and some digitally-created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks.
“It also includes some photos of female nipples, but photos in the context of breastfeeding, birth giving and after-birth moments, health-related situations (for example, post-mastectomy, breast cancer awareness or gender confirmation surgery) or an act of protest are allowed.”
Several of the videos from OnlyFans creators using the breastfeeding loophole to flash their flesh to their followers show the women staring seductively down the camera and biting their lips while holding a doll to their bare chest.
