Caitlin Stasey wants to make porn films that look like perfume ads after setting up her own production company.

The 33-year-old 'Neighbours' star - who played Rachel Kinski in the Aussie soap until 2009 - has moved into the adult industry in recent years and now runs her own company called Afterglow which she's using to hone her skills as an X-rated filmmaker - and Caitlin has revealed she wants her movies to like glamorous advertising campaigns.

Speaking to the 'I’ve Got News For You' earlier this year, she explained: "They’re [perfume adverts] always so sexy, and it always feels like sex is about to happen, when they’re sniffing each other’s necks and like, licking each other’s wrists.

"So I kind of came up with the concept of a perfume commercial that then becomes a lesbian threesome ... The sets tend to be really inclusive. There's a lot of women."

She added of her directing career: "I want to become a better director and learn how to make things that look beautiful and feel good so that one day I can learn how to make things that are ugly and don’t.

"You know, real cinema where there is no joy! Porn is a great place to get your visual bearings.

"I also want to contribute to this big evolving world of sex-positivity. It’s just time for the conversation around sex to change".

She previously opened up about her company in a chat with Women’s Wear Daily, revealing she's proud of her work but it became pretty tricky during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Caitlin said: "It’s a queer-run and operated company. It’s a very cool group of women making some very good stuff ... We were all set to make several films ... but things have gotten really, really dicey out [in L.A.]. Making a regular film during COVID-19 is tough – making a pornographic film during COVID-19? Virtually impossible."
