Two Oasis fans started "eating" Liam Gallagher's hair after mistaking his dandruff for cocaine.

The 'Wall of Glass' hitmaker was left baffled by the encounter, which took place after his former band played Glastonbury in 1994, and explained the two guys thought his flaky scalp was a sign of his wild partying ways.

Speaking on the 'Rise and Fall of Britpop' podcast, he said: "I remember some kid coming up to me - I've got psoriasis and I'd been scratching my hair.

"He grabbed his mate and said, 'Look, they've even got cocaine in their hair.'

"The pair of them started eating my hair and puttin git on their gums and up their nose."

Liam previously urged young people to take magic mushrooms instead of turning to violent crime.

Speaking to website The Fader, he saidsaid: "There wasn't much going on when we were growing up but we weren't going around with machetes and throwing acid in people's faces.

"We had f**k all, and I think this generation's got a lot more than we had. So I'm not buying that there's nothing to do.

"There's a field out there - go play football and take some magic mushrooms."

Liam also stated that if he were to ever become Prime Minister then he would legalise all drugs because so many people want to take them despite the fact it is a criminal act to have them.

He said: "I'd legalise them because they are shocking these days. Improve the quality and make some money."
