Alexander Lukashenko "passed out" and was "bleeding from everywhere" after a recent visit to see his ally Vladimir Putin.

The Belarusian tyrant was taken ill in Moscow last month in an incident which is thought to have been covered up and opposition politician Valery Tsepkalo claims to have received information about Lukashenko's "incurable" condition from Russian doctors who treated him at the Kremlin hospital.

The Belarus leader's ill-health led to claims of Russian poisoning but Tsepkalo has explained that his medical sources indicate that Lukashenko has a serious genetic cardiovascular disease and is likely to "relapse".

Tespkalo - a former presidential candidate who has been forced into exile - said: "I am absolutely convinced that if the Kremlin wanted to poison him, they would have already poisoned him.

"That's why they did everything possible to save him."

He continued: "When it happened, almost all (leading) doctors of Moscow, the best specialists, were (mobilised) in the night.

"There was a blood transfusion or his blood was cleansed in some way to prevent (clots).

"I know that he was bleeding from everywhere. And there truly is a very serious genetic disease, a cardiovascular disease.

"It is absolutely clear that it is incurable... he will relapse.

"My information comes from (Russian) doctors who were woken up at night (to treat him)."
