Tiffani Thiessen thinks it's "really, really fun" seeing the current '90s fashion revival.

The 52-year-old actress, who became a household name as Kelly Kapowski in Saved By The Bell, has opened up on seeing her 16-year-old daughter Harper and her peers embrace the style of the past.

She told PEOPLE magazine: “I have a teenage daughter, so of course, I see, like, the ’90s — and now the Y2K [style] that’s so popular right now in fashion and makeup and hair and all that.

"It’s neat to see the full circle, like, literally go around, and seeing it happen over again."

Tiffani has Harper and 11-year-old son Holt with her husband, fellow actor Brady Smith.

She reflected on the various trends that are getting a "newfound sort of love", including the "zig-zag" hair parting.

She said: “I’m kind of into it. I think the middle part was having such a big moment, and the side part’s coming back, so maybe this is a way to bring it back … I kind of dig it.”

Although she isn't convinced by the feathered bangs of yesterday, which had "lots of volume and a lot of hair spray", the actress thinks the current iteration are "totally fine and amazing".

Tiffani isn't quite so sure about the unitard, which she wore on Saved By The Bell and is now "totally having a comeback".

Referencing her time on the classic sitcom, she quipped: "I don't know if I'd wear it in orange. I’d probably stick to the darker colours for myself.

"Or maybe I shouldn’t at 52 and let the younger generation take that one."

Tiffani can currently be seen as Miss Graves, the headmistress of Crescent Veil Academy in magical Disney+ show Coven Academy.

She recently admitted she questioned her career after she was overlooked for a Bond girl role.

During an appearance on I’ve Never Said This Before With Tommy DiDario, Tiffani shared: "I was very close to being a Bond girl. It was super, super hard because I also was a huge James Bond fan."

Tiffani recalled taking a trip to a beach, where she contemplated her acting future.

The TV star said: "That was a really big moment in my life, a very hard sort of rejection that I had.

"I remember questioning my career after that. Like, do I keep going and do I really want to do this? Can I handle rejection like that? I put everything into it."

Tiffani has now encouraged other people facing similar setbacks to "find the joy" in their craft.

The actress said: "I think the drive that I had for it just goes to show you that I still wanted to continue doing it. Like I loved the drive. I loved the opportunity. And so I never gave up. And I still enjoy it to this day."
