Dame Joan Collins says one of her secrets to feeling empowered is to "just love life".
The Dynasty actress, who turned 93 in May, always tries to have a "good night's sleep" and the star ensures she drinks plenty of water to stay healthy.
When asked what her secret to "feeling empowered" is, she said: "I just love life.
"I wake up every morning and breathe the air and try to get a good night’s sleep and drink lots of water and take care of myself."
Joan is known for starring in movies such as The Stud, Land of the Pharaohs, and The Girl in the Red Velvet Swing, among many others, and she enjoys watching classic films when she's not at her best.
Asked what she does on the days she's not feeling her "best self", she said: "Watch TV. Only old movies though.
"But there aren't any on really."
Joan appeared opposite iconic actress Bette Davis in 1955 movie The Virgin Queen, and she enjoys watching her late co-star Davis - who died in 1989, aged 81 - whenever her films air on TV.
She said: "If you’re very lucky, you might manage to find an old Bette Davis film once in a while."
What's more, Joan loves watching movies with Jack Nicholson and Sarah Jessica Parker.
As a result, she is no doubt a fan of 1996 sci-fi movie Mars Attacks!, which featured both Nicholson and Parker.
She added: "But I like the films of the ‘80s and ‘90s, the ones with [Jack] Nicholson and Sarah Jessica Parker."
In May, Joan insisted her genes and "simple" approach to life were the secrets behind her remarkably youthful appearance.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Joan said about her age-defying looks: "I have very good genes - I’m very lucky.
"My father lived to be 87, and for somebody born in 1903 that’s pretty amazing.
"My mother took incredibly exceptional care of me and my sister. When we were growing up she gave us all supplements when nobody was taking supplements."
Joan, who has long spoken openly about healthy ageing, avoids extreme diets and complicated wellness routines.
She said: "I just believe in healthy living. I don’t eat junk, I get eight hours of sleep, I exercise. It’s very simple."
The actress also dismissed suggestions she has struggled with her mental wellbeing.
She said: "I never have thought about my mental health, ever. My mental health is perfect.
"I had great parents, I had a wonderful, loving mother, a quite strict father, so I never got into drugs and booze or any of that, so I never thought that there was anything particularly wrong with me.
"But being healthy is not my main focus. My main focus is my life, my children, my husband, my friends."
