Skid Row introduced their new lead singer on Thursday (29.10.26).

Broadway star Justin Sargent - whose stage credits include Rock of Ages and Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark - made his debut with a blistering cover of The Who's Won't Get Fooled Again, which is available to stream now.  Fans can also get their hands on a limited, hand-signed 7" single.

The hair metal band unveiled the new member in a video on Instagram captioned: “NEW BLOOD. SAME ATTITUDE. After more than two years off searching the globe for their next frontman, Skid Row found him in the very state the band was born… NEW JERSEY! WELCOME @justinmsargent TO SKID ROW!”

Their last regular bandleader, Erik Gronwall, departed in 2024.  Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale was a temporary replacement before Skid Row rested for two years.

In his own announcement, Justin said: “Well, HERE WE GO! I’ve been holding onto this for a while, but I’m beyond excited to finally announce that I’m officially the new lead singer of the legendary SKID ROW!

“I’ve spent my life chasing loud guitars, big stages, and the kind of music that makes you feel like you can take on the world. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that road would lead me here!”

He added: “The last few months have been surreal and I can’t wait to share what we’ve been cooking up. And to the Skid Row fans, I know what these songs mean to you…they mean a hell of a lot to me, and I’ll give ‘em every damn thing I’ve got!!

“I can’t wait to get out there and raise some hell together.. The next chapter starts now!”

The I Remember You rockers will play their first dates with their new frontman next spring, kicking off on March 5 in Rancho Mirage, California.

Sebastian Bach led Skid Row from 1987 to 1996, a period in which they enjoyed mainstream success, and he now fronts Twisted Sister in place of Dee Snider.

Skid Row reformed in 1999 with Johnny Solinger in tow, and have been through several lineup changes.

The current lineup includes Dave Sabo, Rachel Bolan, Scotti Hill, and Rob Hammersmith.
