Mark Indelicato has got married - in a ceremony officiated by his Hacks co-star Jean Smart.
The 32-year-old actor tied the knot with partner David Watson in an outdoor ceremony on Saturday (10.10.26), with some of his other co-stars, including Johnny Sibilly and Hannah Einbinder, sharing footage of the big day on their social media channels.
Johnny shared a clip from the ceremony, in which Jean, 75, said: “Do you, Mark Anthony Indelicato, take David Joel Watson to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, in sickness, in health, for richer, for poorer, as long as you both shall live?”
After Mark confirmed he did, she added: “Then by the power vested in me by American Marriage Ministers, I now pronounce you husband and husband.”
Both Johnny and Hannah captured the newlyweds' first kiss as husbands, before they immediately moved to the dancefloor to enjoy a special moment to Paul McCrane's Is It Okay If I Call You Mine?
Both grooms wore black suits with white shirts for the ceremony and changed into more casual attire afterwards.
Former Ugly Betty actor Mark previously admitted he felt "very, very lucky" with the way his parents reacted when he came out as gay as a teenager.
He previously told Out magazine: “I feel very, very lucky and fortunate that I had such supportive parents, and that [they] also didn’t make it a big deal.
“[They] were just so, ‘OK, cool. No doubt. Doesn’t define you as a human being. It’s just an aspect of who you are, of your identity. And that’s great and you should celebrate that.’”
And he reflected on how he knew Hacks was "something special" when he first read the pilot, and was particularly impressed with the show's representation of the LGBTQ+ community.
He said: “They’re just existing as queer people.
“There’s not really this grandstanding coming-out story, which I think in and of itself is a huge milestone in LGBTQ representation. That their queerness isn’t drama, that it just is.”
