In character, he wrote on Instagram: "I iz BACK!

"And if u iz at dis borin wimbledore final lookin 2 get grand slammed, I iz here wif de hookup... dm me, especially if u iz fit. (sic)"

In the video, Ali G described tennis as "a crap version of ping pong".

"Them say that tennis is better played on grass, which is why I intend to sell as much of it while iz here.

"So if you want some herbal remedies, me got anything you want."

The hip-hop influenced character first appeared on Channel 4's The 11 O'clock Show, before landing his own Da Ali G Show in the early 2000s.

Ali G has interviewed plenty of high profiles names over the years, including Donald Trump before he became president.

The appearance at Wimbledon comes days after it was reported Baron Cohen has secretly wrapped filming on a new Ali G film.

As reported by The InSneider, the rude boy interviewer is making a return, after he was most recently seen on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2024.

It's said filming has been completed, while the project has been in development since before the 2023 Hollywood writers' strike.

At this point, it's not known if the mysterious project will hit streaming or the big screen.

The outlet's Jeff Sneider teased: "Ali G also spends a good deal of time in the circus that is America in this mysterious new project, which remains untitled and has no release date as of now."

A spokesperson for Baron Cohen has declined to comment.

The actor, who is also known for his work on the likes of 2006's Borat and its 2020 sequel Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, did revive Ali G in 2023, when he made a surprise appearance at The Comedy Store in Sydney, Australia.
