Stevie Nicks is "expected to perform" at Taylor Swift's wedding to Travis Kelce.
The Fleetwood Mac legend, 78, has become friends with The Life of a Showgirl superstar, 36, over the last few years and she's said to be on the guest list for the couple's big day which is believed to be taking place over America's Independence Day weekend (04-05.07.26) - and a new report suggests Stevie will also be taking to the stage during the celebrations.
Rolling Stone reports Stevie is "expected to perform on the big day" while New York Post column PageSix also suggests the music legend will be entertaining guests along with country star Tim McGraw, who inspired one of Taylor's early hit singles.
It was previously claimed Taylor and Travis are preparing for a two-day wedding celebration at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
The couple are said to be planning an intimate ceremony followed by a much larger gathering over the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
Reports in PageSix and The New York Times claim the couple have chosen Madison Square Garden as the venue for the celebrations, with an initial event attended by around 100 close family members and friends before a larger reception said to include between 1,000 and 2,000 guests.
Neither Taylor nor Travis has publicly confirmed the plans, and representatives for both had not responded to requests for comment, according to PageSix. A source told the publication: "Privacy was of number one importance to them both."
Another insider added: "Everyone’s been sworn to secrecy."
Previous reports have suggested the wedding guests still have no idea where the ceremony will take place.
A source told Us Weekly: "Taylor and Travis told guests to be in NYC. No other location was provided. They’re putting their guests on hold for a couple days. They are spending a lot of money – in the millions."
It's been claimed that invitations were issued over the phone rather than by traditional mail in an effort to reduce the risk of details being leaked.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Travis’ fellow NFL tight end and Tight End University co-founder George Kittle said he remained uncertain about where the celebrations would ultimately take place.
George said: "I actually asked Travis last night [whether it was at Madison Square Garden] and he laughed at me, so. I’m half expecting there to just be a jumbo jet on a runway and they put us on a plane somewhere."
The reports also claim the couple have taken extensive measures to protect the privacy of the event. The New York Post reported a permit application submitted by Winick Productions requested temporary street closures around Madison Square Garden and sought permission for a public tent to be erected outside the venue.
