Singer and actress Hilary Duff was visited by her late, former boyfriend Aaron Carter, who died in 2022 aged 34, during a psychic reading.

The 38-year-old singer and actress has told how a medium worked out the Lizzie McGuire actress' identity after Aaron, who died in 2022 aged 34, appeared during the session.
Speaking on the Las Culturistas podcast, she said: "I talked to this psychic on the phone, and she doesn’t know who you are when you call.
"Eventually, she figured it out.
"She’s, like, ‘Well, people are gonna start showing up for you. And there’s someone here. Aaron - two As. I was like, 'Oh my god.' "
Hilary admitted the session was "a really wild experience", and her psychic knew who she was after the Someone's Watching Over Me hitmaker revealed Aaron was her childhood boyfriend.
The star added: "She was, like, 'Sure is. What the hell’s he doing here?'
"I was like, ‘Well, that’s my childhood boyfriend. And that would make sense to me.'
"And, she’s like, 'Are you Hilary Duff?' "
While she didn't reveal a message from Aaron through the medium, Hilary told how she talks about the late star "often" with his twin sister, Angel Carter, because they are close friends.
She added: "Our kids go to the same school.
"She’s a lovely literal angel of a person. We’re very close. We talk about Aaron often."
Hilary gets psychic readings at times to "validate the path" she is on.
She said: "I’m not living by it, like, firmly.
"I’m just like, 'Let’s have fun with this.' "
Following Aaron's passing in 2022, Hilary paid a touching tribute to her former boyfriend.
She wrote: "For Aaron. I’m deeply sorry that life was so hard for you and that you had to struggle in-front of the whole world. You had a charm that was absolutely effervescent.
"Boy did my teenage self love you deeply. Sending love to your family at this time. Rest easy.[heart emoji] (sic)"
Hilary and Aaron dated on and off from 2000 to 2003 after they met on the set of her Disney Channel comedy series Lizzie McGuire.
