The Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress' husband turned 50 earlier this month and she marked the occasion with a big bash, but was left unimpressed when she realised two women had found their way into the celebrations without an invitation.
Speaking on SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up, Sarah said: "I just threw Freddie's 50th birthday party, and we had crashers.
"So, really funny. First there were these two girls, and they were in line for the photo booth, and I was taking a picture with someone and look.
"Freddie has some friends that I don't know, and there were some people on the invite list that had dates, so I was like, 'Freddie, who's [are] those?,' and he was like, 'I don't know, those are your friends.' I was like, 'I didn't invite friends,' so, I realised they were crashers, so I kicked them out."
Sarah - who has Charlotte, 16, and 13-year-old Rocky with Freddie - then had security "chase down" the unwanted guests after she realised they had managed to swipe gift bags on their way out.
She said: "They took, I had these really nice gift bags. Parfums de Marly does cologne for men, like really nice perfume, and they left with the two bags, and so I had security go chase them down like, 'I'm going to go get them back.' "
The 48-year-old actress then had another showdown with more gatecrashers.
She said: "Then we had two more, and they're like, 'Oh, we're friends with Jen.' I was like, 'There's no Jen,' and then they're like, 'Oh, we thought it was an open bar.' I'm like, 'No you didn't.' "
The couple's daughter warned Sarah about throwing out the revellers in case she went viral on social media, but she insisted she behaved properly throughout.
She said: "My daughter's like, 'You're going to be all over TikTok tomorrow kicking these people out.'...
"Look, I'm never rude, but I mean, I'm firm."
The Cruel Intentions star also marked Freddie's birthday on 8 March with an Instagram tribute to her husband of 23 years.
Sharing a pair of photos of them together, she gushed: "Happy Milestone Bday @realfreddieprinze. Age is simply the number of years the world has gotten to enjoy you. And no one has enjoyed you, more than me.(sic)"
