Shawn Mendes, Justin and Hailey Bieber

Since 2018, singer Justin Bieber, 29, has been married to model Hailey Bieber, 26. However, for some months in 2014 the latter dated ‘It’ll Be Okay’ hitmaker Shawn Mendes, 24, who happens to be a good friend of Justins. Over the past years Shawn and Justin have hit the stage together and have been spotted spending time together here and there. In a 2020 interview with GQ, Mendes addressed rumors on them being enemies, but clarified their friendship is in fact, very strong. He said: “Justin and I were never enemies. We were maybe not friends. But we were never enemies, absolutely, and that’s kind of something that people maybe might’ve turned it into at some point. When he made the video and he was like, ‘Who’s Shawn Mendes?’ he said he really genuinely didn’t know who I was and I believed him, so whatever … But I mean, honestly, I really love him. He’s been so sweet and super gracious, and giving with his advice and with his energy, so he’s a good friend.”
