Mexico City cooks up a storm at the Tamal Festival

Preparations are on the way as Mexico gets ready to host the Tamal festival, which is celebrated in honour of Candlemas Day.

Friends and family gather round to sample the wide selection of the Mexican delicacy which consists of corn dough filled with various fillings.

The most popular tamales at the Tamal festival are stuffed with shrimp, cheese and mole.
