The ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker has been involved in the LGBT community from the very beginning and feels a moral obligation to defend her gay fanbase.

She said: “I’ve always had gay friends and I have been very involved in the gay community since I was young.

“I feel a moral obligation to defend my fan base and make the world a better place.”
