The ‘Dawson’s Creek’ actress and the ‘American Pie’ star began dating in 2000 and got engaged three years later. However, the relationship came to an end in 2005 before they were due to tie the knot. While they did not reveal the reasons behind their split, Klein once told People: “We certainly don’t see each other as much as we’d like, but we try to use the time that we have to the best of our advantage.”
