The three-time Oscar-winner was branded "overrated" by Trump after she criticised the US President during her speech at the Golden Globes in 2017.

He tweeted: "Meryl Streep, one of the most overrated actresses in Hollywood, doesn't know me but attacked last night at the Golden Globes.

"She is a Hillary flunky who lost big."
