A delusional display of an overinflated ego dressed up as pop music. The performance mixed tongue-in-cheek arrogance with relentless repetition, as the group essentially declared victory while the competition was still very much underway.
With its marching-band energy, shouting chorus, and knowing wink to the audience, it turned Eurovision into a self-aware parody of itself, and became one of the contest’s most memorable comedic entries.
