The Toxic singer was raised as a Southern Baptist growing up in Kentwood, Louisiana, before adopting the Kabbalah religion on the advice of Madonna years later.

However, after suffering through many personal struggles, like being placed in a conservatorship controlled by her father Jamie Spears, Britney was disillusioned and turned her back on religion.

She vowed: "God would not allow that to happen to me if a God existed! I don't believe in God anymore because of the way my children and my family have treated me. There is nothing to believe in anymore. I'm an atheist, y'all!"
