ALS Diagnosis and Death

In April 2025, Dane revealed that he had been diagnosed with ALS after he started experiencing symptoms in early 2024. He soon lost the use of right arm and hand and started using a wheelchair full-time last October.

He sadly passed away due to ALS complications on Thursday (19.02.26), with his family stating: "With heavy hearts, we share that Eric Dane passed on Thursday afternoon following a courageous battle with ALS."
