Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt make a splash

Before their messy split in 2016 - just two years after tying the knot - Brangelina were very happy, often showering each other with extravagant gifts.

Jolie, who admitted Brad Pitt was “so hard to buy for,” made waves when she gifted him a waterfall on an exclusive property as a joint 48th birthday and Christmas present.

Not one for the main-stream, the unconventional actress mystified everyone with her unique purchase.

A source close to Jolie told the Daily Mail:

"Angelina wanted to get him something incredibly special and, because she knows how much he loves architecture, she thought this would be perfect. This is the present to top all presents."

According to the insider, Brad was gushing with adoration over his gift, having dreamed of a home set against the sound of a cascading waterfall, inspired by the legendary house built by American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.
